Driving Lesson Bursary Competition

As of 2012 I will be offering a Driving Lesson Bursary to a very special person every year.
The idea is to dispel the myths around learning to drive and it’s going to be ‘proof-in-the-pudding’ stuff so the public at large can understand what it takes, once and for all. No, most have no clue…and this is what you will help to demistify as the winner.
But that is only the competition’s secondary reason.
The primary, main, Numero Uno reason is putting a safe diver on the road, one person at a time. 100% Legal!
You see, it may be unfathomable or beyond belief, but you can’t imagine how gatvol both the public and authorities get prior to, during, and after diving tests. First, you struggle yourself through quicksand to get an appointment, then you run the gauntlet of picking ‘the right’ driving instructor or coach, then lots and lots of practice follows and eventually your test day arrives…sooner than you thought.
Then, on the day of your test you have the jitters to a lesser or greater extent than your peers or siblings and no amount of horror stories can prepare you for the experience you’ll have, whether that is the horror you pictured or the anti-climax you never expected.
But that’s just a small intro.
What we’re going to do, You and I, is give a blow-by-blow account of your learning experience from the start to finish.
We’ll see how it goes – maybe I’ll even teach you how to use my site’s software and I may register you as an ‘author’ so you can do your weekly updates all by yourself. I will moderate what you write though – and by this I don’t mean I’ll strip anything just to keep the pretty parts. No, a good once-over before you publish may pick up that you left important issues out or you forgot to mention a particular frustration…stuff like that.

4. Your training will start on 1 March 2012 or soonest
