Update: The Call Centre has crashed in October 2010 and there’s no way it’s coming back online. Yippeeeeeee!!!
Now if there’s one thing that I’m adamant about, then it’s doing things the legal way, you may have noted from my writings on this here site.
Many people complain about not getting bookings or suitable booking dates before their learner licences expire and then get very tempted….or convinced that buying a booking is the only way out. I have a problem with that.
You see, it just perpetuates the problem and keeps those underworld dudes in power to set the stage for better and better corruption and increasing the price at will. Yes, buying a booking is corrupt, specially if a reasonably good system can get you a test booking at any stage.
Then, amazingly, there are those that expect provincial government to fit into their schedule and they get seriously irritted when they can’t get a booking specifically for so-and-so Day at so-and-so Time, in so-and-so Weather Conditions at so-and-so Testing Station….
Now really people, GET SERIOUS!
Yeah, I know most of life has become so very on-demand. Hey, you could even schedule the delivery of a baby, BUT if that baby ain’t comin’, it just AIN’T comin’ – you go ask around and you’ll be surprised.
Our government is trying very hard and I think it’s time that all efforts are appreciated.
