My Availability Schedule
No, my schedule is not interactive. No, you can’t book my time yourself. Why?
It’s actually really very simple.
I can ill afford having a schedule filled with empty promises.
Here’s how that may happen – a typical example today, for instance.
A couple of days ago I got a call from a young man who sounded like he was reasonably serious about getting a few lessons booked within the very near future, at that stage. We communicate a bit, we figure what both our schedules can accommodate, and yes, he requests a lesson or two within the next couple of days. I advise him that I have reserved a few options and request that he confirms which would suit him.
I get no response for a few days, so I eventually re-allocate these times for another client on my waiting list. On the day when the lesson was to have taken place, within 30 minutes to 1 hour of the lesson, I get an sms giving a physical address. I advise, that due to not confirming the lesson, the time was re-allocated and that he should reschedule for another time.
A few days later I get another sms from him requesting lessons for a specific time he confirmed as free on my schedule today. We make a firm appointment following which I confirm such via sms. He follows that up with another request for confirmation, which I do… and if I’m not mistaken, he also phones to confirm again, just making 100% sure, I guess. By now, our mutual confirmation stands at around 3-4 four instances.
So, today, I arrive at his house, ready for the lesson and, now get this…
I am let into the property’s gate, and announcing the reason for my presence, the domestic worker informs me that HE’S NOT THERE!
No message left by him. No contact from him saying “Please wait for me. I’m on my way”. Nothing.
You see where I’m going with this?
My schedule’s really not a trust-thing. It’s a responsibility-thing. I’m responsible for my time, my vehicle wear and tear, my fuel costs, my patience, my blood pressure, etc.
When I call a person on my waiting list at short notice, to fill in the gaps created in these circumstances, I have to be realistic as to which client is closest and available within 30 minutes. When that doesn’t practically work, I get most annoyed when, like today, when I actually had to turn down two new clients yesterday in favour of, what I was made to believe was today’s confirmed 2-hour lesson.
Travelling Cost down the drain converted into Loss of Income!
Time Wasters are limited to 2% or so and though it’s sad to think that their needs are no different than any other client, I have to do it – I have to weed them out, in favour of more seriously orientated clients. Quite interesting to note that I DO forgive and 99% DO make full use of my standard “Get Serious or Get Going” offer and all turns out for the better for them in the end.
Yip, mincing words doesn’t get licences issued.
Thankfully, I am most grateful and blessed to have wonderful clients to work with who have experienced my passion for making a unique difference.
Scheduling My Time How-To:
1. Open my schedule and have a look at available date and time options.
2. Contact me, either via sms or my Contact Form to reserve my time.
3. If your chosen time slot has not been taken yet, I’ll confirm it on my schedule.
4. You will be advised that I have confirmed your time slot via sms or email.
5. No further action required from your side – just honour your appointment and please have payment ready.

Die groen blokkies met die kodes is my tyd wat toegeken is aan lesse wat bespreek en bevestig is.
Die geel blokkies, indien enige, dui aan dat tyd bespreek is maar nog nie bevestig is nie. Wanneer lesse bevestig is verander die kleur na groen en die betrokke persoon word per sms in kennis gestel, indien daar nie telefonies bevestiging was nie.
Die grys blokkies dui bloot aan dat die tydperk op ‘n Saterdag of Sondag is.
My skedule word aangepas elke aand, en dis belangrik dat jy jou browser “refresh” om seker te maak dat jy die die nuwe inligting, indien enige, kan sien.
Ek vertrou dat my skedule nou duideliker lees?

ENGLISH:
The green blocks with the codes are times slots allocated to lessons that are booked and confirmed.
The yellow blocks, if any, indicate booked time slots not yet confirmed. When lessons are confirmed the colour changes to green and the relevant person is advised via sms, if there was no telephonic confirmation.
The grey blocks merely indicate that the time period is on a Saturday or Sunday.
My schedule is updated every night and it is important that you refresh your browser to ensure that you see the new information, if any.
