Practical jokes are all the rage, to some. To others, it’s a great embarrassment to have people laugh at their expense, particularly so when probable injury may be sustained…or worse, when they really get injured and it’s not a joke anymore. Jokes are meant to be funny and practical jokes are meant to be funny – to a point. Let’s face it, when Leon Schuster’s victim retaliates and whacks him it ain’t so practical, now is it? Now, what I fail to understand is that some elements in society would think it funny or practical humour to screw around with safety on our roads, like typically demonstrated by this robot-thing which is the new “humour” the last couple of years. Today I was driving along Honeydew West Road as I often do, and had it been the average skewed robot (today, on the corner of Northumberland Avenue), I think I may have missed it since I’m sure you’ve noticed there seems to be so many of those these days.
